Step:1
Launch the TomTom HOME software, found in your Mac's "Applications" folder or in your Windows "Start" menu. If you don't have TomTom HOME installed, download and install it for free from TomTom's official Web page.

Click "Update and Install." The software will automatically download and install the updates to your TomTom device. Wait for the TomTom HOME software to complete the installation process before proceeding.

Disconnect your device. Click "Devices" in the top of the TomTom Home screen and select "Disconnect Device" from the drop-down menu. Unplug the device from its syncing cable and resume use.
